All About Me

My name is Alison and I have lived in Eyemouth since 2017. I am a relatively new massage therapist and started training in 2025. Suddenly, a space became available at the new Harbour front building and it would have been silly to miss such an opportunity! It is a pleasure to be able to work in my hometown, providing people with person-centred, holistic therapy to help heal and repair the mind and body. I am generally very trauma and mental health aware having worked in mental health care for several years. I will always take the time to get to know you through an initial consultation, taking into account the whole you - physical, mental, preferences, likes and dislikes.

i have been a lover of massage therapy since I had my first one 13 years ago. I remember my body became still and my mind became quiet for the first time ever! From then I was hooked. Massage is an important and perhaps, under-rated tool to be used in conjunction with mental or physical health care to maintain your general well-being.

I am currently trained and insured to provide India head massage, Thai hand and foot massage and chair massage (seated acupressure). My plan is to complete my level 3 in Swedish massage this year and hope to be qualified to carry out this treatment in late 2026. To be honest, I’ve become a bit addicted to booking any training course I can find that takes my interest so there will be many more to come!
